Christina Fenrich grew up in rural Southwest Louisiana. She graduated from Louisiana State University with a BS in Microbiology and from the University of Louisiana at Lafayette with a Bachelors Degree in Nursing. She moved to Houston in 1988 to work at Texas Children’s Hospital, where she met her husband Arnie, who was completing his Pediatric Cardiology Fellowship. They married and continued to live in Houston and work at Texas Children’s Hospital for fourteen years. They moved to Austin. In 2008 where Arnie joined the practice of Children’s Cardiology Associates of Austin. Their son, Remy Andre is currently a Junior at The University of Texas at Austin studying Biomedical Engineering.

Christina has been a member of the TCMA since 2010. She has served on the board as Treasurer, Secretary, Financial Development and currently VP of Community Service Elect. She has also served on the TMAA State Board as VP of Fiscal Affairs for the past two years and now chairs the TMAA Finance Committee. She has enjoyed the opportunity to volunteer in various roles and is honored to serve our Medical Community. When not volunteering and working part time, she enjoys local live music, gardening and spending time with friends and family.
