Membership in the Travis County Medical Alliance (TCMA) is open to physicians eligible for membership in the Travis County Medical Society and to any member of a physician or medical student couple. Membership includes dues to the Texas Medical Association Alliance (TMAA).
Membership benefits include:
* Social Committees such as Book Review, Mahjong, Alliance Arts, and Chic Ladies.
*Invitations to Alliance sponsored events such as Toast To Doctors, Party With a Purpose and various membership events throughout the year to network and explore Austin offerings.
*Opportunities for philanthropic activities such as cooking for St. Louise House, distributing bike helmets through the Hard Hats for Little Heads program, volunteering at vaccination clinics, supporting community partners like Volunteer Healthcare Clinic.
*Members engage in legislative efforts to address issues that affect medicine and are given the opportunity to interact with legislators during legislative sessions.
*FRIENDSHIP-the medical journey is not always easy or well understood. From frequent moves far from family to long hours and demands of practice, connecting with others who have walked the same path can offer support and comfort.
*Member-Only Facebook page. Find a plumber, ask a question, share highs and lows with friends in a private setting.

backpacks, facilitate free vaccination clinics and raise much needed funds for community partners.

TCMA provides networking opportunities among physicians and others interested in philanthropic, medical, and business fields in Austin.
