

Deneitra recently returned home after living abroad and around the country with her husband and three sons. Born in Houston, Deneitra is a graduate of UT Austin with a BSA in Fine Arts and a MS in Community and Regional Planning. Her career began in Honolulu, where she relocated to work on a mass transit project before meeting her future husband, Dr. Jeffrey
Hutchinson (US Army). After several moves, the family relocated to Austin in 2018 following Dr. Hutchinson’s retirement from the military.
Deneitra brings her expertise in community outreach and volunteer coordination to the position
of VP of Community Service. In addition to her board position, Deneitra serves as the Foundation Chair for Jack and Jill of America, Austin Chapter; Austin Partner in Education
mentor through Delta Sigma Theta, Inc., Austin Alumnae Chapter, and Ten Thousand Villages volunteer. Professionally, she serves as CFO for the Wade Alliance, an executive consulting company focused on coaching and assisting organizations in improving outcomes directly impacted by leadership, diversity and inclusion.
With an ethos of service to others, Deneitra is passionate about community, social justice, and is determined to learn Spanish, no matter how long it takes.
