My dad worked for Exxon his entire career as a Chemical Engineer, so I moved around a lot as a child throughout his many advances up the corporate ladder. I was born in New Jersey, moved to Michigan, Baton Rouge, LA, and then finally settled in Houston. I moved from Houston to attend Southwest Texas State University- now known as Texas State.  Go Bobcats!.  

 

I graduated with a BA in Mass Communications-Advertising.  Advertising apparently wasn't going to be the direction I was headed, as I went directly into sales right after college.  I worked in the cellular phone industry for 8 years, moved on to First American Title in Business sales, and then finished out my career in the Assisted Living and Skilled nursing industry. 

 

I met my husband, Adam Schneider, 7 years ago and we have been married almost 5 years. Adam is in Internal Medicine and has been with Capital Medical Clinic for 20 years. We have four children together: Preston (19), Kathryn (19), Kendal (15) and Alexandra (14).

 

I spend most of my free time working out, reading, volunteering with CASA, working part time at the Baby Gap and raising my wonderful family.  I am excited to be on the Board this year and I am looking forward to the opportunity of serving our community through the TCMA.
