Tera has been a member of the TCMA for over ten years and has served in several positions on the Board, including President, President-Elect, VP of Financial Development, Treasurer and Fund Drive Chair.  Tera has a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from the University of Nevada, Las Vegas, and a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from Duke University.  She has over 12 years of professional experience in business and technology consulting for Booz Allen Hamilton and business strategy, marketing and product management for IBM.  She is currently a part-time independent consultant, part-time volunteer, and full-time mom.  

Tera is married to Radiation Oncologist Douglas Rivera who is with Austin Cancer Centers and Austin CyberKnife.  Tera and Doug have three elementary school-aged children and they enjoy spending time outdoors and traveling.  Tera greatly enjoys the camaraderie of the TCMA members and being involved in an organization that is having such a positive impact on our community.
