Christina Romain - VP of Financial Development-Elect

​

Christina grew up in Mobile,AL and received her bachelors and masters degree in nursing from the University of South Alabama. After graduation, she worked in both New Mexico and California before deciding to make a home in Texas. 

 

She arrived in Austin in 2006 and here she met and married her husband Dr Michael Romain. They have been together for ten years and have four children. With the youngest still a toddler, home life remains busy and slightly chaotic. Christina’s nursing career as spanned from critical care bedside nursing to healthcare management and consulting. She continues working part time as a hospice nurse practitioner while staying busy raising her young children. 

 

Relatively new to TCMA, she is excited for this position with the board. In her free time, she enjoys reading, exercising, and traveling.
