Elaine grew up in Texas and attended UT San Antonio. She studied Marketing and
Advertising, working in advertising for several years afterward. After marrying
Steve, a UTHSC Medical School graduate, they moved to Boston for his fellowship at
Massachusetts General Hospital. Following that, they moved to Dallas and began to
raise a family. Elaine joined the Dallas Alliance in 1993 and served for almost 18
years on many of the ancillary committees and has chaired several fund raising
events for the Alliance over the years. After moving to Austin 12 years ago she
joined the Austin Alliance.
Elaine and Steve have 3 adult children and two grandchildren.
Elaine enjoys Mah Jong, reading, hiking and Pilates. After becoming empty nesters,
traveling has become their new favorite hobby.
