After growing up in an Air Force family, I graduated a third generation Aggie from Texas A&M with a BS in Wildlife and Fisheries. I did wildlife forensics and genetic analysis briefly before returning to school for a Master’s degree in Toxicology. I worked in private consulting and for the State of Texas doing human health and environmental risk assessments for hazardous waste sites. I married my husband and briefly lived in North Carolina but returned to Austin in 1997. After my third child was born, I became a full-time mom and just recently saw my third child graduate from college. I enjoy working with fused glass, community gardening and traveling. I’m looking forward to volunteering with TCMA and being involved in the many opportunities that help our community.
