I grew up in Rochester, NY, and graduated from M.I.T. and SUNY Medical
University in Syracuse, NY. I completed my residency in Internal Medicine at
the University of Virginia, got married and worked as a physician for several
years in Durham and Charlotte, NC, finally "retiring"; to raise my three sons
and stay busy as a volunteer in my sons' schools, the Jewish community, and
Meals on Wheels in Charlotte, NC, where I lived for 22 years. I moved to
Austin in 2012 with my now ex-husband and youngest son. I never dreamed I
would be a Texan, but I am enjoying all that Austin has to offer. I worked in a
studio in East Austin making succulent planters prior to the pandemic. I have
a son in St. Louis, one in Philadelphia, and one here in Austin. I like to run,
hike, explore art museums, read, play cards, travel, and visit family all around
the country (safely of course).
