Patricia A Wallis

Born in Fort Worth, I graduated high school as a National Merit scholar, then earned a BS with Highest Honors in chemistry after six semesters from SMU. Just before his junior year in medical school, I married Ted, a pulmonary physician and fellow Texan. We moved to Austin in 1981, where I joined TCMA immediately, raised three UT engineers, and managed Ted’s medical practice until his retirement in 2005. I have been active in various local non-profits over the years (treasurer for six!), as well as 1998-99 TCMA President and TCMA Volunteer of the Year (1997-98 & 2010-11). Currently, I help the Alliance with the website and newsletter, and do bookkeeping and medical billing (FOR profit!) from home. I sew, quilt, read, play with computers, and cook. I have an adorable 1-year-old granddaughter, Jenna, in Colorado.
